Whenever the Change crew introduces the game to new players, we always hear the same comments- “Oh a quarters game, I remember playing that in college”. Of course, they’re right, it’s a game played with coins where players shoot for a variety of targets. The thing is, it’s that and so much more. First and foremost; Change isn't a drinking game. When we explained this to people at TAP, we were met with a lot of confused faces. Many said they just assumed Change was a drinking game because TAP NY is a beer festival. Our answer was simple; this is a game for anyone to enjoy. Just like any other backyard games (think cornhole or horseshoes), you can play with or without a beverage in hand. Now, over the course of this particular weekend, most patrons did play with one of those beverages, but our game isn’t about drinking, it’s about having fun.
After getting past the lack of drinking rules, people were amazed at the versatility of our game and how much fun it is to play. Change can currently transform into 16 different games, all with unique ways of playing. We often begin explaining Change by showing the game all together, packaged for retail. Most looked at Change and thought, "That just looks like a block of wood". Once we took the game apart and arranged the pieces into one of our popular game versions, those confused faces morphed into excited ones. After getting the hang of bouncing the quarters off our launch pads (often taking no more than a couple of tries), we showed players all the different ways of arranging the pieces, unlocking the potential of our game. Our day was filled with people mastering the bounce, experimenting with all our versions of gameplay and even trying to come up with their own. There was a ton of smiles, high fives, and quarters flying in all directions.
Towards the end of the festival, we got a chance to check out the music being played at the iconic grounds of the original Woodstock. We were psyched to see quite a few games of Change being played throughout the crowd and really appreciated the kind words and support of all that attended. We definitely made some new friends and can’t wait to see everyone again next year. Until then, Cheers!

]]>Can’t figure out what to get a good friend or for that office Secret Santa? The gift of a Change game will make you the hit of the party because it can be played anywhere. Whether at the office, a family member’s house, or even your favorite brewery, Change is small enough to fit on most surfaces. The Launch Pads also allow you to bounce quarters like a pro anywhere, so any flat surface can become the ideal tabletop.
Change is also the gift that keeps on giving. With Change’s multi game features and an ever-expanding game catalogue, it's impossible to lose interest in playing. You can enjoy versions of mini cornhole, basketball, baseball, and many other mini bar games. It's also a great gift for that creative family member because Change encourages its community to design new ways to play. If someone submits a new game version to @weplaychange on Instagram, their game could be included in the next games release.
So, if you a looking a gift that's small enough to fit in a stocking, but packs big time fun for everyone this holiday season, you can’t go wrong with the quarter bouncing sensation Change!
]]>ChangeHole- ChangeHole is a crowd favorite, but few know that going for the gusto is not always the best strategy. If you are having problems making the 3 point hole, you may be better off just shooting for the 2 hole instead. This strategy helped a team win a tournament at one of our events last year.
Tower of Power- The tough part about Tower of Power, besides getting the quarter to bounce that high, is getting an exact score of 11. Players typically have an easier time getting the quarter in the 3 point hole, but four of those shots makes your score over, which subtracts points from your score. We recommend shooting for the 2 point hole for your first score. It will give you a better chance to get exactly 11 and quickly take down your competitor.
Basketball- Basketball is one of our more versatile games, so it will help to have an edge over your opponent. Most players get fixated on making the hole that represents the basketball hoop, but any hole can be made in the game. If you are having difficulty reaching the hoop, shoot for one of the other holes instead and see if the competition can match you short range shooting style.
Baseball- Just like the real game, baseball involves a great amount of strategy. We always suggest that players take the time to read the rules before they start playing baseball because they strongly influence how the game is played. One of the rules that give players some trouble is not being to make the same hole 2x in a row. So, if you hit a triple, that hole is closed for your team until a home run is hit or someone makes an out with 2 or more holes closed. There are many strategies on scoring runs, but few people know that one of the hardest holes to hit is the double. A double is an elevated hole and part of the Change Piece blocks the path for the quarter. So, if your team gets a double, it puts your team in better position to rack up the runs.
Cricket-This is probably the most challenging game in the Change repertoire. One of the reasons why it can be difficult is the dreaded double hole shot. You must make 3 shots to beat your opponent and the shot through both of the 1 holes can be a headache. We would suggest changing the angle of your shot by moving the launch pad farther away from from the Cricket formation. This will give the quarter a better chance of successfully traveling through both holes.
Tennis- This is one of our newer games, but has quickly become a fan favorite. The trick to this game is again changing the angle of your shot on your returns. It can be tough to get your quarter through one of the middle holes on the return, but by slightly pulling the launch pad towards yourself, you create a better angle for the quarter to get through.
SkeeHole- SkeeHole can be as challenging as the boardwalk version. The angle of your shot can improve your chance of nailing that 100 point hole. Because that hole is elevated and far away. Players should bounce their quarters as though the are skipping them across the launch pad to give them the extra distance needed.
Football- The gridiron can be a tough game, mainly because the last 2 holes are so far away. The insider trick for this game is to only punt if you are shooting for the 75 yd line and kick a field goal if you get to 4th down while going for a touchdown. Punting from the other locations isn't worth giving up your final shot at the hole and sometimes a few field goals can win the game quicker than scoring a touchdown and kicking an extra point.
Well that is our tips for now. Hope they help and that you all enjoy the many variations of Change!
]]>Let's imagine for instance you're visiting your favorite camp site this summer. In past years you may have enjoyed some corn hole, or Kan Jam (Two of our favorite summertime past times). Frisbees or bean bags may have been flying into your neighbors site constantly- something you may not have thought twice about. After collecting your errant toss, you'd quickly apologize and be on your way. Unfortunately, times have changed and though it is crazy to think about, this interaction may now cause a certain level of anxiety for those involved. Not with Change... You can play within a small area and in many different ways. The space can not confine the good times to be had. You can really play on any flat surface, anywhere you go. We've played on picnic tables, park benches, rock walls, blankets, tailgates, car hoods and so much more.
Maybe you enjoy a day at the beach. As mentioned in previous posts...No one likes carrying all that gear down the sand. Change fits in a small beach bag or even in the palm of your hand. Pieces slide together into a nice tight package with your quarter stored safely inside. Don't want to bring a table down to the beach? Not to worry! Our launch pads allow you to play right on the sand in your own little area.
No matter where you decide to play, don't forget Change can be enjoyed in a variety of ways! If you're like us and love to play corn hole, then check out our version called ChangeHole- able to be played within a small space. Maybe you enjoy shooting hoops. There's a version of H-O-R-S-E we've created that can be played on a table, instead of a court. Wanna play some Baseball? Break out some Change and play on your beach towel, instead of a field. If you're looking for the perfect game to play, but worried about space- Change is the answer!
]]>Whether I was stuck inside on a rainy day or I was outside enjoying a lazy summer afternoon, I can distinctly remember playing a ton of board games as a kid. I had a huge unorganized shelf, devoted to games to pick from. After rocking a game once, I'd grow bored of the rules, box up the pieces, and send the game off to exile; its pieces to never again see the light of day.
Change is a game you can never get bored with. Its patented design allows you to play many different ways. Each piece can be moved to unlock a new way of playing. Ever enjoy playing the popular basketball game; HORSE? Well we've got a version of Change for you. How about Football? You guessed it... we've come up with a miniaturized version to play with Change. As an adult, I'm a huge fan of Corn Hole, but unless you have a good amount of room, there's no way to play. Not with Change... You can enjoy a game of corn hole without a ton of space. The only difference is instead of tossing bean bags; you're bouncing quarters. Check out the "How to Play" section for the many different ways of playing with our patented design.
It's a beautiful day. You're sitting in the backyard with a couple of friends and you break out your Change game. You're dominating the scene and everyone is having a blast. All of the sudden, a few more friends show up and they're looking to share in the good times. Not to worry; rearrange your Change set and unlock a multiplayer version of playing. The party doesn't stop with Change.
We've got 12 different versions of Change ( so far ). If you can think of a different way of arranging the game pieces, or a different way of playing, we'll add your version to our site ( and give you credit ). We encourage creativity and love to hear of new ways to play. Pick up a Change game today and get creative.
Whether you're looking for a game that will always keep your interest or one that can adapt to the crowd; Change is the answer. Check out our site today for different ways of playing to unlock the potential of Change!

]]>If you're like us, you love playing games at the beach. From paddleball, to frisbee, we're always looking for something fun to do. Keeping this in mind, Change is the ultimate beach game to play in a limited amount of space. You can play right on the sand with our patented design.
Another plus is portability. We love the beach but can't stand dragging a ton of heavy stuff down the sand. Change weighs less than a pound and will fit in any beach bag, or even right in your hand. You can literally take it anywhere.
Whether enjoying the beach this weekend, or later this summer, be sure to bring Change with you whenever you go!
]]>Change can promote family time
We may all be stuck in the same house for the next few weeks or months but that doesn’t mean that we are necessarily spending quality time together. Change can offer an opportunity to compete, smile, and laugh together. If you’re quarantining alone you can get on one of the many virtual meeting platforms and play a game of Change via webcam. We’ve tried it and it’s a blast!
Change can help younger players learn to follow directions.
When children play board games they have to listen to instructions in order to play. Learning directions is an important life skill for home, school, and life in general. We’ve even heard of some parents making up their own rules for Change to teach their children how to count money. Kids can be learning important life skills and not even know it!
Playing games creates more happiness.
Remember playing checkers, chutes and ladders, or twister as a kid? Change brings you back to that simpler time. Its literally impossible to not find enjoyment watching that quarter fall into its target. That’s not just us talking… that’s science. A side effect of playing Change is laughter- again… science. All this laughter and good times helps to decrease stress. There you have it…Change is not only fun, it’ll keep you healthy.
Change enhances creativity.
Change has twelve ways of playing (with more on the way) but we’re always looking for user submissions. Have a cool new configuration or way of playing? Shoot us an email, a picture, or a video of you playing and we’ll share it with our community- and let you name it!
And there you have it… If you’re looking for some fun, Change is for you!

Game Night Evolution
Change is the brainchild of a few friends seeking a game without boundaries. When we decided to develop a game, we first looked at what was missing from the family, party and bar games on the market. There are so many great games out there, but they all have something that limits their playability. Games can be too big or heavy for indoor areas, too difficult for novices or children to play or can just get boring after playing it too much. So, when we developed Change, we focused on making these weaknesses our strengths.
-Anyone- Our launch pads allow anyone to be a pro at quarter bouncing. We tested dozens of surfaces to determine which was best for bouncing quarters and we eventually found the perfect surface. Now anyone (Child, Adult and Senior Citizen) can be a competitive Change player in minutes.
-Anywhere- Change weighs 1 pound and it is small enough to fit in a purse or in a cargo short pocket. The Launch Pads allow you to play on any surface (Sand, Grass, Bar Top, Dining Room Table, etc.).
-Anyway- Change is the game that is always transforming. There are currently 12 game formations, with developed rules, available on our website. When we originally launched, we included 4 game formations with rules. Since that time, we have expanded our library of games to a dozen, including a set of beginner games and even a game developed by a consumer. Change allows its owner to be creative and the only limits are your imagination.
